Workbasket Wednesday: Pineapple Quilt

Today's Workbasket Wednesday is a pattern for a vintage Pineapple Quilt. I actually really enjoy quilting and wish I were able to do it more. I love the piecing process and there's nothing more relaxing than sitting and quilting by hand. I mostly make baby quilts these days, but have a goal of finishing a full size quilt in the next year or two.

Enjoy!

  1. Very lovely! The first colour scheme that spring to mind for me when I see this pattern is one of aqua, red and white.

    1. Ooo,that would be a gorgeous combination! I may have to try that, if I ever get around to actually making this one. There's just not enough time in a lifetime.

  2. Patchwork is my first sewing love, I find hand piecing very relaxing.

    1. That's one of the first things I did when learning to sew. That and doll clothes. My mom found some of my first patchwork blocks and made a throw pillow out of them and now my daughter, who's six, thinks it's the most wonderful pillow ever and wants to make her own.
And you are too kind! This is the first blogger award I've ever received! I feel so honored, thank you again!
